Looking for clarity on a few things? Although our FAQs listed in your Solar or Star Vendor Package are extremely informative, we've listed basic, initial questions that will help you decide if this is a right fit for your brand.
1) What's going on here?
Strictly Yours Fashion Event or SYFE (pronounced SAHY - fe) is a fashion shopping event series featuring curated independent brands and celebration. As the third installment of Feli Kiwi's shopping event series with a new look | new name | new logo, SYFE promises to be a vibrant celebration of culture, community, and commerce!
2) What is Melanfroasis?
Melanfroasis is a celebratory mood. Combining the essences of melanin (our cosmic shell), afros (our subliminal textures) and the oasis (our core ambiance), an ethnic pride exudes that is shared with our community and beyond.
3) Do you have to be Black to participate as a vendor, sponsor or shopper?
No. Our event vendor organically aligns with celebrating the African/Black Global diaspora and descendant cultures. Our shoppers, guests, sponsors, staff, affiliates -- everybody -- are more than welcome to join in the festivities!
4) What are the Solar and Star Vendor Packages, and any associated fees?
Solar offers operational services and a full sales & marketing suite. Star offers operational services and partial sales & marketing services. Due to the government shutdown, early registration fees for Star Vendor and Solar Vendor Packages will be extended until the end of the year. While we don't publicize political opinion, we understand that some individuals are being affected by the shutdown. Therefore, standard registration fees will commence after January 1, 2026. Some benefits include, but not limited to, exclusive vendor guide placement, multimedia marketing and international live streaming from Switzerland.
5) Is there a refund policy?
No.
6) How many inserts should be submitted for goody bags and raffle prizes?
Although standard minimum is 50, a final Run of Show will include how many inserts are required to accommodate both goody bags and raffle prizes. ROS will be finalized at least 60 days prior to event date.
7) How can I buy tickets to shop at SYFE?
Ticket sales open in January. For our die-hards, you must email us with your name, contact info to reserve 1 Admission, Admission+ or Admission+ & Guide Ticket until December 1st. Your reservation is valid for up to 2 weeks after initial request.
